Innovative solutions achieving both beauty and functionality
Rob did a variety of stonemasonry work for us using our old sandstone - constructing a grand new entrance path, repointing front entry steps, re-constructing another badly subsided path (originally built in 1938), and creating several beautifully shaped garden retaining walls. The jobs were not straightforward (dealing with a sloping site) and Rob came up with innovative solutions achieving both beauty and functionality. Rob is a consummate professional, unfailingly courteous and an excellent communicator. He is prompt, leaves a tidy site and is competitively priced.

Complete build of heritage front wall and steps
Rob managed the construction of our front wall and steps to complete the heritage character of our old terrace house. We always found him punctual, easy to deal with and confident in managing all the twists and turns involved in construction. Despite dealing with a very confined space, he was able to accurately install all the stonework and complete the supporting construction without any hassles and we would thoroughly recommend his work.

Excellent restoration of stone fence
Rob restored my stone and iron fence for my terrace house. It was leaning badly and quite damaged. He did a great job I have no hesitation in recommending him as a stone mason. He was efficient, polite, reliable and hard working.

Great workmanship and accurate quote
Very happy to recommend Rob. Found him through an ad on Gumtree. He built a gorgeous sandstone flower bed which exceeded my expectations in terms of attention to detail and finished look and also laid sandstone pavers to match some already there - not an easy task as he was reusing a mish mash of existing stone I had in the garden am very happy with the result. He's very good at his craft, reliable, has good communication and I'm happy to show anyone his work. Great job Rob , thanks

Quality Work, Dedicated, Reliable and Friendly
We got Rob's number by referral from our Architect. Rob was working down the road so we were able to see his work first hand. No job was too hard for Rob, he delivered per our brief and even suggested practical ways to save us money. We had engaged Rob to restore a sandstone staircase for a 115 year old federation house as well as rebuild a sandstone wall. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Rob

Exceptional workmanship & dedicated professional!
Rob was recommended to us by the quarry. He came promptly to inspect and provide a quote. At all times we found Rob to be highly professional, punctual, hard working, dedicated, accurate, thorough, polite, courteous and friendly. The project was extensive, including several large retaining walls, a number of planter boxes, cladding, paving and laying large format stepping stones/treads. Stone & brick wall
Rob was working on our neighbours house when we approached him for a small job of extending an existing stone wall and some brick work. He promptly provided a quote, supplied stone choices and advised his availability. He completed the work as scheduled while we were on holidays. It was lovely to come home to see it finished exactly the way we wanted and high the standard of work.

Rob is a master craftsman
My wife and I were keen to have a high standard of finish in our new home. Rob fitted in perfectly with some beautiful stone work at various locations around our new home including large sandstone clad columns at the front and garden edging utilising sandstone found on site. He is very accommodating and has the patience required to be a true craftsman. Would highly recommend Rob to anyone considering a stonemason of the highest calibre.

A true craftsman
I have no hesitation in recommending Rob. Rob has done a lot (cladding, walls, retaining walls, pavings) for us around the house and in the garden. He takes pride in his work. The walls he built for us are amazing. Friendly. Honest. He does what he says and delivers. He is a true craftsman.

Super craftsmanship at a good price
I got a few quotes for some work on a retaining wall I needed building. Rob's was slightly more expensive than a couple, but included much better materials and really good stonework, rather than just a wall. Well, the finished article looks great and so much better than we could have hoped for, frankly I'm surprised it didn't cost twice as much as you can really see the hard work and skill that went into even the small details, like cutting the blocks perfectly. Definitely would recommend.
